Opportunities & Careers
Volunteers are a critical and a key component to the ongoing success of most Victim Services organizations. Without the dedication, commitment and hard work that volunteers provide, most Victim Service organizations would not be able to meet the need within their communities. Volunteers are typically citizens from each community over the age of 18 who have diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. As a Victim Crisis Responder, volunteers often provide emotional and / or practical support to individuals who have been victimized as a result of crime or tragic circumstance. Volunteers may respond on-scene at the time of the event, at a Victim Services office location or by phone.
